Three Steps for Learning to Drive:
- Theory and Hazard Perception Test
- Practical Driving Test
- Pass Plus
The theory test is split into two parts:
Multiple Choices Questions
You will have to complete 50 multiple choice questions. In order to pass this test you must answer at least 43 questions correctly. Aim to arrive at your test center at least 15 minutes before your test.
Hazard Perception Test
Sitting at a computer and using the mouse button, you will watch 14 video clips, each containing one or two hazards. The earlier you identify a developing hazard and make the according response, the higher you will score. There are 15 harzards in all with a maximum score of 5 marks each, making a total of 75. To pass this section you must score at least 44 out of 75.
You will need to be successful in both parts in order to pass overall.
